Thom Berg, the owner of CNC Surgeon LLC since 2022, is highly regarded in the field of electrical and mechanical engineering with over three decades of experience to his credit. Through his present role, he maintains responsibility for providing on-site repair services and component-level repair of electronic devices and addressing machine complications ranging from minor adjustments to comprehensive overhauls. Likewise, he is well-versed in troubleshooting, retrofitting and upgrading machinery, developing PLC programs, and training operators and programmers. Mr. Berg has also served as the owner of ThomCom Services since 1995, providing specialized services in electrical and electronics engineering. Earlier in his career, he served as a service engineer at United Precision between 2021 and 2022 and an Acu-Rite service supervisor at Heidenhain Corporation between 2020 and 2021, where he previously served as a service technician for over 25 years. He also worked for DMG MORI in 2016. As a testament to his success, Mr. Berg earned the Achievement Award for Applied Science, demonstrating his proficiency in problem-solving. In accounting for his success, he credits his father’s influence, who imparted to him the importance of a diligent work ethic. In the coming years, Mr. Berg aims to expand the scope of CNC Surgeon by hiring more employees.
