Rob Davis, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Help for Children (HFC), is regarded for his role in combating the tragedy of child abuse and providing treatment to those who have been victimized. Since its inception in 1998, HFC has donated over $63 million through over 1,500 grants to organizations, with a focus on saving children from the trauma of abuse. He has cultivated groundbreaking relationships with leading universities such as Columbia University, UC Berkeley, the University of Chicago and Emerson University to assist HFC in selecting the most effective programs to fund and report on results. Mr. Davis has received multiple accolades, including a 2002 Proclamation by Mayor Michael Bloomberg recognizing him for establishing HFC, the 2004 Excellence in Child Abuse Prevention Award, the 2008 Voice for All Children Award and the 2011 Dedication to Changing Lives Award, among others. He also cemented his legacy in financial services with a 50-year career with Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Oppenheimer, McAlinden Research Partners and others. Mr. Davis has also performed speaking engagements on protecting children from abuse and the devastating lifelong trauma that results. He looks forward to educating as many as possible on the tragic results of child abuse and how to prevent it.
