Dr. Abbas Mohammadi is a dentist and entrepreneur who has been the president, chief executive officer, and clinical director of Columbia Dental since 2000. Inspired by the kindness of a local dentist during a childhood dental emergency, he earned a DMD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After immigrating to the United States, he earned a DDS from Columbia University, followed by fellowships in oral microbiology and periodontology.
Columbia Dental has grown to include 13 locations across Connecticut, serving a broad range of specialties. Dr. Mohammadi maintains an active clinical presence, seeing patients seven days a week with extended hours. He is a member of the American Dental Association and sits on the board of the University of New Haven’s executive micro-MBA program. Dr. Mohammadi is proud to have dedicated his career to helping others, and Columbia Dental has been featured in media outlets including a Connecticut-area CBS affiliate and The Hartford Courant.
