Andy “Fu-Chang” Hsu is the founder and CEO of NEO Semiconductor, where he brings more than 25 years of expertise in semiconductor development, artificial neural networks, and non-volatile memory. Before launching the company in 2012, Mr. Hsu spent 16 years as a design manager, director of engineering, and vice president of engineering for a semiconductor startup company, where he was responsible for developing more than 60 products. He remains active in research and development at NEO Semiconductor, conducting research and writing patent applications in addition to leading marketing and executive functions. Mr. Hsu’s creations were recognized with a 2022 award for Most Innovative Memory Technology and a 2020 Best of Show Award at the Flash Memory Summit, where he was the keynote speaker. He credits his success to his persistence and desire to make the world a better place, and holds industry leadership roles including membership in the Flash Memory Summit advisory board. Mr. Hsu holds a Bachelor of Science from National Cheng Kung University and a Master of Science in electrical, computer, and systems engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
