Mr. Crocker is an attorney with more than 50 years of practice specializing in estate planning and administration and state and federal tax cases. He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in estate planning and probate and has served clients in private practice since 1987. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and earned Bachelor of Law degrees from Texas Technical University and the University of Texas School of Law before being admitted to practice in the state of Texas in 1965. He began his career as an estate tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service and joined the Houston firm of Peat, Marwick, and Mitchell as an accountant in 1972. Before establishing himself as a sole practitioner, Mr. Crocker represented clients as a member of Baker & Botts and Hendricks Management Co., arguing cases at all levels of the Texas court system. One of the highlights of his career was a 1987 estate case centered on evaluation discounts and family limited partnerships. He is active in the American Bar Association and Houston Bar Association and has brought his expertise to other legal professionals as a lecturer and workshop lead throughout his career.
Mr. Crocker was featured in the Wall Street Journal among a group of recipients of the prestigious Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
Mr. Crocker has been selected for inclusion in several editions of Marquis Who’s Who in America.
