Chris Fernandez is an insurance professional currently serving as the chief executive officer of Affordable American Insurance. He has built his career with the company since 2006, when he joined as an IT support technician. His technology-forward mindset and dedication to the company led him to take on a variety of leadership roles. He rose to become director of information technology and went on to serve as chief technology officer and chief operations officer before assuming his current role.

Under his guidance, Affordable American Insurance transitioned to the EZLynx management system and developed a proprietary dashboard for analyzing agency performance, which helped increase efficiency both internally and for partner organizations. This drove a period of significant growth, taking Affordable American Insurance from operating in three states to more than 20. He is proud to have led his family business into a new era and looks forward to continuing its expansion, aiming to reach $1 billion annual premium and double its total number of agency locations in the coming years.
