Christopher R. Kelly is a military historian, writer, and the owner of History Invasion, LLC. He is the co-author of several books on American military history for laypeople including “America Invaded: A State-by-State Guide to Fighting on American Soil” and has been featured in numerous media outlets as a guest expert. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley and began his career in broadcast media in the 1980s. Before focusing on his passion for history, Mr. Kelly spent nearly 20 years in the television industry and four years as chair of the Chyron Corporation, which he considers a professional highlight.

History Invasions LLC was founded by Mr. Kelly, who sought to make history more accessible and engaging. He looks forward to several upcoming projects, including another nonfiction book, a military cookbook, and plans for a film adaptation of a military memoir that he edited.
