Connie Goodman-Milone is a celebrated writer with a rich background in social work and health care. Since 2001, she has been a prolific freelance writer based in Miami, Florida, where she is recognized as a co-author of the “Bereavement Poetry Project” and contributor to the “Cadence” anthologies by the Florida State Poets Association. Penning poetry in “The Grief Observer,” “Dark Wood,” “Of Poets and Poetry” and “Healthy Stories,” among others, she is a columnist for the South Florida Writers Association, titled “Author’s Voice.” Earlier in her career, Ms. Goodman-Milone served in social services as a case manager in skilled nursing with HealthSouth, as well as prior appointments as a social work intern for the Veterans Administration Medical Center and editorial assistant at Chelsea House Publishers LLC. In 2018, she also conducted a series of radio shows with CUTV News. The recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from The George Washington University and a Master of Social Work from Barry University, she has earned a myriad of accolades for her outstanding dedication to her crafts. To this end, she accepted the Special Merit Award and several poetry awards from the South Florida Writers Association and won numerous writing contests.

On June 8, 2023, Ms. Goodman-Milone was honored with a press release, recognizing her appearance in Times Square, New York, for excellence in writing.
