Dr. Jolly is a board-certified special care dentist with more than 40 years of experience in general practice, dental oncology, and forensic dentistry. A graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City, Dr. Jolly completed a Bachelor of Arts in biology and chemistry in 1974 and was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1977. Between 1979 and 1987, he was an assistant professor at the University of Missouri and Chief of Restorative Dentistry at Truman Medical Center, in addition to five years as Director of Dental Oncology at Trinity Lutheran Hospital. In 1987, Dr. Jolly became an associate professor and director of the general practice dental residency program at The Ohio State University, rising to professor in 1993. He remained at the school until 2008, and currently serves as the chief forensic dentist and odontologist for the Franklin County and Licking County Coroners in addition to serving part-time as the director of a dental insurance company. He is the author of several professional manuals, the namesake of a scholarship at The Ohio State University, and has dedicated his career to serving others, including work as the director of a clinic in Honduras and leadership roles in numerous professional organizations.
