Darius E. A. Reid is the co-founder of Reid and Bethea Group, a design-and-build firm specializing in net-zero residential projects. With a career spanning nearly two decades across the consumer durables sector, he brings a rare combination of enterprise leadership and operational execution. Mr. Reid began his career at Stanley Black & Decker in 2006, advancing to progressively senior leadership roles from regional development manager to sales manager. In 2014, he joined Whirlpool Corporation, where he quickly emerged as a key commercial leader, delivering multimillion-dollar profit results, leading a major brand acquisition, and playing a significant role in advancing the company’s e-commerce strategy.
He later served as vice president and general manager of Whirlpool’s Home Depot business, one of the company’s most critical channels. Under his leadership, the partnership achieved meaningful gains, contributing to Whirlpool being named Home Depot’s Marketing Partner of the Year in 2024, a first-ever recognition for the company. He stepped down from the role in 2025. Mr. Reid holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and remains focused on building organizations designed for long-term impact.
