Dr. Dena Lynn Lodato is a board-certified veterinary surgeon and the owner and medical director of Resurge Veterinary Surgical Specialists and Rehabilitation, LLC. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Science from Mississippi State University and celebrates nearly 15 years of practice treating small animals. Her clinic is centered on combining holistic and conventional treatments to treat orthopedic, neurological, and soft tissue conditions and is the only specialty practice in the area offering physical rehabilitation, sound wave treatments and veterinary acupuncture among other treatments. 

Dr. Lodato incorporates cutting-edge treatments such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy into treatment plans and is proud to be at the forefront of developments in veterinary medicine. She has published extensively on topics in veterinary surgery and is dedicated to continuing to learn and refine her practice throughout her career. Dr. Lodato is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, the Society of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgeons, and the Louisiana Board of Veterinary Medicine. She has held leadership roles in professional organizations throughout her career and currently serves as president of the Florida Parish Veterinary Medical Association.
