Donald C. Clark Jr. is distinguished in the legal, arts, entertainment and publishing industries, having served as the co-owner of the Chicago Magic Lounge. Since 2016, he has produced a plethora of entertaining, award-winning stories, such as the feature film “Guest Artist,” written by and starring Jeff Daniels, and the dramatic play “When Harry Met Rehab,” which was nominated for the Joseph Jefferson Equity “Best New Work” Award in 2022. Furthermore, he published the 2021 book “Summary Judgment,” which details the true account of a death row inmate in post-conviction proceedings in Alabama. Earlier in his career, Mr. Clark worked in law for 40 years, serving as a litigation partner for several firms in Chicago and a founding partner of Clark & DeGrand, a boutique litigation firm. He also served as the general and nationwide special counsel for the United Church of Christ and the acting president and general counsel of the Chicago Theological Seminary, which bestowed upon him an honorary doctorate. Mr. Clark earned the Lifetime Achievement Award from Crain’s Cleveland Business in 2014 and the Arthur E. Armitage Sr. Distinguished Alumni Award from Rutgers University in 2015, which also named him among Rutgers-Camden’s Finest in 2016.

As a testament to his success, Mr. Clark was highlighted on the Who’s Who of Top Business Owners website.
Mr. Clark’s longevity in the field and philanthropic deeds were honored with the Worldwide Humanitarian Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
