Dr. Don Elijah Eckhart, a retired university instructor and government supervisor, currently excels as a writer in the field of theology. With decades of experience in the government sector to his credit, he previously served with the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, a nonpartisan agency serving the Ohio General Assembly, as division chief between 1986 and 2004. Following his government retirement, he thrived as a part-time instructor for the Ohio Certified Public Manager Program at The Ohio State University and Ohio University from 2005 to 2008. Throughout his career, he was invited to give the opening prayer for the Ohio Senate on several occasions, as well as received the Legislative Staff Achievement Award from the National Conference of State Legislatures in 2002. More recently, he authored the book “Jesus the Everlasting Hope of Humankind” in 2018, which he aims to use as a communication tool with fellow theologians and churches, and articles in The National Digest. He earned his doctorate from Ashland Theological Seminary in 2020, with his dissertation discussing the theology of eternal punishment. He endeavors to have his dissertation become a valuable resource. Congruent to his vocational efforts, he sponsors children through World Vision and donates to various charities.
Dr. Eckhart was celebrated for his accomplishments in theology, authorship, academia and government with a voiceover video.

Dr. Eckhart was named to Who’s Who of Top Executives and highlighted on the Top Executives website in May 2022.
