Donald Lee Rogers is a man of many talents who remains active as a consultant, computer programmer and data engineer for the Automobile Club of Southern California, a company he initially joined in 2003. He previously progressed through technical positions in various companies, most notably having a key role in resolving the Y2K crisis at the turn of the century. However, his storied history began with his father, Warren Lee Rogers, one of the founders of the Pacific Crest Trail. Holding great admiration and respect for his father’s legacy, Mr. Rogers has maintained lifelong involvement with the trail’s association, museum and archive.
During an extreme health scare that nearly claimed his life, Mr. Rogers had an out-of-body experience that further strengthened his already unshakeable Christian faith. He saw this as a calling to become an ordained minister and began pursuing other ordinations, in addition to actively supporting churches and charitable organizations by leading fundraising efforts. All of his creative works also took on a clear Christian focus, one of the most prominent being “The Monster Inside Everyone,” first conceptualized as a screenplay and now being reworked into a novel. Negotiations are currently underway for a film adaptation.
Recognized for leadership in technology and excellence in creative writing, Mr. Rogers was featured on a billboard in the heart of Times Square, New York, in 2026.
