DW Duke is an acclaimed attorney and creative whose career has centered around litigation, professional liability, and real estate with an emphasis on creating positive social impacts. As the owner and principal of the Law Office of DW Duke, he collaborates with other firms, drawing on the diverse skills of his legal peers. He holds a JD from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and celebrates more than 40 years of practice.

Outside his work in law, Mr. Duke strives to amplify human rights and social justice-oriented projects through his work as a film producer, author, and the CEO of Duke Entertainment Media, LLC. He is the author of nine books, including “Because I’m Black,” “In Search of the Golden Chalice: The Untold Story,” and “The Duke Legacy,” and is the creator of “Empathy Awareness,” a multi-grade curriculum for youth. He is a featured producer on the documentary “Generation to Generation” and remains passionate about the power of documentary film, with negotiations for further projects currently underway. Mr. Duke is dedicated to humanitarian outreach through leadership and advocacy, including service as president of the Institute for Children’s Aid and director of legal affairs for Seventy Nations Jerusalem.
