Eugene C. Adee is a consultant and retired commercial pilot who enjoyed more than four decades of success in the aviation industry. Hoping to become a fighter pilot, he joined the ROTC program at Ball State University and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1967, beginning a 24-year military career. After serving in Vietnam, Mr. Adee returned to the United States and transitioned into an instructional role teaching new pilots in basic training. In 1984, he began his career as a commercial airline pilot for Southwest Airlines, a position he would hold until his retirement in 2004.
As an expert in both military and civilian aviation, Mr. Adee is the president of ADEE Consulting, providing clients with logistical insight and assisting in the development of safety manuals and training modules. He continued to serve as a Federal Aviation Administration inspector and private pilot until 2009. Mr. Adee attributes his success to dedication, integrity, and taking pride in his work. In his retirement, he enjoys long-distance motorcycle trips and woodworking.
