Dr. Raudales is a board-certified nephrologist and hypertension specialist in private practice at El Paso Kidney Specialists since 1987. Raised by a family of physicians, Dr. Raudales was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by his early experiences helping his father at work, and he earned his Doctor of Medicine, summa cum laude, from the University of Honduras School of Medicine in 1979. After spending a year in the United States Army, serving to the rank of Major, Dr. Raudales returned to medicine, and in 1993 he was named medical director at Central City Dialysis. He had held numerous administrative leadership roles throughout his career, including terms as Chief of Staff at Providence Memorial Hospital and co-chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for the Providence-Sierra Network, and he is the founding medical director of Transmountain Dialysis, where he has practiced since 2013. Dr. Raudales is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the National Kidney Foundation, and the American Heart Association, has contributed to medical journals and has earned numerous awards and distinctions throughout his practice. He emphasizes the human element of medicine and patient care over insurance coverage, and has contributed care to the Baptist Free Clinic since 2005.
