Dr. Huy M. Tran is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the president and founder of Texas Eye Physicians, where he has maintained practice since 2002. He is committed to providing cutting-edge care to the diverse community of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including low-income patients and the large Vietnamese diaspora community. As a part of his commitment, Dr. Tran and his staff speak Vietnamese and he often provides pro bono services to underserved patient populations such as low-income Vietnamese Buddhists. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed a residency in ophthalmology at UT Health San Antonio.

Dr. Tran began his career as a physician at the Arlington Ophthalmology Clinic in 1999 before moving into his current role with Texas Eye Physicians. He is dedicated to remaining at the forefront of developments in eye care and utilizes next-generation laser-assisted cataract surgery techniques, among other advanced technologies. Outside his clinical practice, Dr. Tran is passionate about streamlining patient communication and medical records management, and he is the founder of dr2doc.com, a secure patient information portal.
