Supported by nearly five decades of professional excellence, James “Jim” R. Klimaski is well versed in employment law and military law through his longstanding tenure as the president of Klimaski & Associates, P.C. Overseeing the law firm and handling trials as a trial attorney, he derives great pride from winning the large majority of his cases, particularly in the early stages of his career when he advocated for the rights of employees in pension plans. Emphasizing that his greatest accomplishment has been defending employee rights, he also aids individuals in cases of employment discrimination, employee benefits, civil rights, security clearances, and the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act. Mr. Klimaski has primarily served the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C., including the states of Maryland and Virginia. Previously, he pursued formal education at Spring Hill College, graduating in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in history. After receiving a master’s degree in 1973, he enrolled in the Antioch School of Law and obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1976. Looking toward the future, Mr. Klimaski aims to conduct historical research, drawing upon his immense passion for history. To this end, he intends to document his findings in a forthcoming publication.
As a testament to his success in employment law, Mr. Klimaski was featured on the Who’s Who of Top Lawyers website.
For his expertise in legal services, Mr. Klimaski was honored with a legacy press release by Marquis Who’s Who.
