Jeanine Marie Herzeg is a senior property tax analyst and administrator at Sarnoff Property Tax, where she celebrates nearly 40 years of professional distinction. She began working with the firm in 1986 as a law student at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Initially hired to review legal briefs, her analytical skills and clear writing set her apart, and she remained on staff as a property tax administrator. She specializes in real estate tax representation, collaborating with the National Association of Property Tax Attorneys, and handles tax projections, reviews of purchases, and appeals. 

Ms. Herzeg credits her success to her mentors’ focus on education and to her ability to grow and pursue her passions. She is proud to have worked on a landmark Cook County industrial property zoning and incentive case and has contributed to several editions of the American Bar Association’s property tax reference. Ms. Herzeg is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association’s real estate tax and real estate tax assessment appeals committees.
