Jill Steinberg is a visionary photographer. Having started her photography career at age 57, she focuses her talents and expertise on projects with a positive social impact. She serves as the board president of National Sawdust, a culturally significant music hall in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She is also the board chair of VisionIntoArt, a nonprofit collaborative art organization that aims to advance artistry and impact across communities and industries. A project close to her heart is the innovative opera, Sensorium Ex, which highlights the intersection of artificial intelligence, disability and the arts, and showcases how technological advancements can empower the creative expression of artists with disabilities. Her works have been published in two books, “Contemplations” and “Invisible Revealed,” which can be purchased on NationalSawdust.org with all proceeds benefitting their Impact Lab. She will also have a photo exhibition at the Bureau Gallery in Tribeca opening on January 8, 2027.
