Joan Marie Price, the owner, chief financial officer and safety director of Custom Installers of Colorado LLC, is widely regarded in the commercial millwork industry. Since the company’s founding in 1985, she has managed all financial aspects of the business, including bookkeeping and tax assessments, as well as visiting job sites to ensure the quality and safety of millwork installation. Concurrently, she established CI Woodworkers of America in 2016, a private commercial millwork school that is an approved OSHA training school for commercial finish carpentry. Notably, she has overseen four-year student apprenticeships and educated students and employees to complete over 9,500 projects to date. Maintaining membership with the National Small Business Association for over 15 years, she is also an OSHA-accredited educational facilitator. Ms. Price is further dedicated to her community, having supported small business owners during the 2008-2012 recession by writing a proposal to Congress to reform the income tax system to protect small businesses. For her success, she was honored with the Life Member Order of Merit by the Executive Council of the Republican National Committee and President Donald Trump in 2025. Among other credentials, she holds a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis on small business finance, from Westwood College-Denver North.
Ms. Price is the recipient of the prestigious Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating her four decades of success in commercial millwork and carpentry.
In recognition of her long-standing success as an entrepreneur, Ms. Price was named a Marquis Top Executive.
A national press release announces Ms. Price’s inclusion in the exclusive Marquis Who’s Who biographical registry.
