Dr. Joseph W. Kovach is well-regarded for his tenure as a professor and the chairman of the departments of psychology, natural and social sciences, and general education at Calumet College of St. Joseph since 1984. Amassing more than 50 years of professional experience, he has further served as the president of Joseph W. Kovach and Associates Ltd. since 1969 and the director of the Educational Research Exchange since 1988. Allocating much of his time to the study and teaching of general, clinical and experimental psychology, he has disseminated his findings to scholarly journals, books, conferences and lectures around the world, having recently contributed to a two-volume book regarding the psychology of violence. Dr. Kovach is a licensed school psychologist in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri, as well as a certified marriage and family therapist in Indiana. Recognized as a diplomate of the American College of Forensic Examiners, he is particularly proud of witnessing his students glean wisdom from his teachings, emphasizing that students have intrinsic abilities to learn and absorb information. Dr. Kovach holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the Illinois Institute of Technology and another Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
