Kara L. Brown, an interior designer at Bergmann, has found much success since commencing her career in interior design. Involved with Bergmann since 2019, she was exceptionally proud to aid in the renovation of a large-scale project, thereby transforming a trucking company warehouse into a modern office building. Earlier in her career, she worked with Hanlon Architects between 2015 and 2019 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2014, which bestowed upon her its Undergraduate Scholar Award. In addition, she holds certification through the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. Ms. Brown thoroughly enjoys combining her love for artistic expression with creating innovative spaces for her clients, exemplified in her work throughout New York. To wit, she has worked on projects at fire departments, town governments and libraries. A member of the Rochester chapter of the International Interior Design Association, she endeavors to render her designs more environmentally sustainable to reduce their carbon footprint. Outside her primary vocational efforts, Ms. Brown is a color guard instructor for the Medina High School Marching Band, the Chili Color Guard Inc. and the White Savers Drum Corps, leveraging 15 years of color guard experience.
