Eng. El Gammal is the current managing director of Nobeltex, an agency representing some of the best textile machinery suppliers in the world. As such, she oversees business operations with companies in Egypt and across the world, offering her clients the highest quality products and service. Ms. El Gammal was introduced to the textile industry by her father who was a pioneer in the field. She studied chemical engineering at Alexandria University, earning a Bachelor of Science in 1963 and a Master of Science in 1968. Ms. El Gammal started her career as an engineer in public-sector textile companies before joining her father’s private company and later establishing her own, Nobeltex. She is the recipient of a 2007 Award for Excellence in Business, and was invited to the World Bank as one of the top female entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa region. She credits her long-term success to her hard work and deep knowledge of the industry, and looks forward to having her daughter, Nayla, take over operations in the coming years.
