Laszlo Kulcsar, the president and founder of Automated Systems Inc. (ASI), is distinguished for his 47-year career within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. Having founded ASI in Lake Bluff, Illinois, in 1989, he specializes in automation and Food and Drug Administration compliance services. Under Mr. Kulcsar’s leadership, ASI expanded its reach and has become a trusted partner for a wide range of pharmaceutical manufacturers. He is well regarded for his technological prowess, leveraging his skillset and his team of professionals to respond to industry requirements. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kulcsar served as a principal engineer at Abbott Laboratories between 1980 and 1989, which introduced him to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Previously, he was a senior engineer at Davy McKee Engineering, where he learned the intricacies of the trade. Mr. Kulcsar holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and was affiliated with several prestigious organizations, including the International Society of Automation, the American Society for Quality, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, among others.
