Michael Garvich, a preeminent leader in the field of engineering with over 30 years’ experience, is a senior product care engineer team leader at Electrolux North America. In his position since 2018, he has been responsible for standing at the helm of a team of professionals to support manufacturing initiatives and resolve critical issues with Electrolux’s product designs. Initially joining Electrolux North America as a senior product engineer, he worked as an operational leader in Memphis, Tennessee, before assuming his present role. Previously, he was employed by the Maytag Corporation and Cleveland State Community College, serving the latter as an adjunct faculty member, teaching management and statistics. Additionally, he was a reserve deputy sheriff for Bradley County, Tennessee, for seven years, where he directed patrol activities and aided full-time deputies with community initiatives. Impressively, he was named the Reserve Officer of the Year in light of his participation in the department’s first preparedness response plan for former President Bill Clinton’s Child Find Act. Mr. Garvich holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Tennessee Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in organizational management from Tusculum University. He also earned three certifications in production planning, leadership and continuous improvement via LinkedIn.
