Michelle Abrahamson Robell is a formidable force in elementary education, amassing over 25 years of teaching experience that has culminated in her role as a first-grade teacher at Walter Hays Elementary School. Since 2000, she has served the elementary school in the Palo Alto Unified School District, having previously taught at Monta Loma Elementary School, part of the Mountain View Whisman School District, as a fourth-grade teacher and gifted/talented specialist from 1998 to 2000. Before delving into education, Ms. Robell was a compensation analyst at Xerox Engineering Systems and an executive compensation consultant with Hewitt Associates. After departing from corporate America, she pursued her goal of teaching elementary education, receiving a teaching credential from the Benard School of Education at the University of the Pacific and fulfilling her desire to impact young students’ lives. Ms. Robell holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, graduating summa cum laude from Kent State University, as well as a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of New Haven. Living by her mantra of “Purpose, meaning and peace,” she aspires to mentor emerging educators in the field to exert a positive influence on society.
Ms. Robell’s portrait and achievements shone brightly in Times Square, New York, and her efforts were lauded with a press release.
Ms. Robell was recognized as a Top Educator by Marquis Who’s Who for her prowess in elementary education.
Well-regarded for her expertise, Ms. Robell was bestowed with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who in 2023.
