Dr. Nicholas Andronesco is an accomplished physics professor and scholar who has been a member of faculty at the University of Bridgeport since 2001. He is the author of five volumes of poetry and the Nobel-nominated book “Resurrection from Hell” and he has contributed to more than 1,400 research papers in physics and cybernetics, throughout his career. He has presented internationally and conferences and symposia and is noted for his work on “Cybernetic Atom 2012,” inspired by Niels Bohr’s quantum theory of hydrogen atoms.
Prior to joining the University of Bridgeport, he taught physics at the Fairfield University School of Engineering and the Bridge School and served as a coach for the 1998 Yale Physics Olympics and the American Regions Mathematics League. Outside his professional interests, Dr. Andronesco has been recognized as a laureate in poetry, prose, art critique and science by Literatura and Arta. He holds a Diploma Graduate of Science in physics from Babes-Bolyai University, a Master of Science from the Economics Studies Academy, a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Bridgeport, and a Master of Science in nanotechnology in physics from Southern Connecticut State University.
