Renée S. Edelman is a senior vice president at Edelman, a global communications firm partnering with businesses and organizations to evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations. She has spent most of her 40-year career at Edelman in the global technology practice, counseling tech and internet companies as a senior media strategist. Since 2014, she has served on the board of directors of Daniel J. Edelman Holdings Inc., the parent company of Edelman, and its sister agencies, Zeno Group and RUTH. In 1998, she helped found PR21, which has operated as Zeno Group since 2004. As the firm’s archivist, Ms. Edelman oversaw the launch of the Edelman Museum, housed in Chicago, in honor of the firm’s 70th anniversary in 2022 – a tribute to Daniel J. Edelman, founder and chairman of Edelman, a pioneer in modern public relations, and Ruth Edelman, his partner in life and business. Earlier, Ms. Edelman was a reporter for the Central Jersey Home News and a news assistant for the New York Daily News. She serves on the board of directors of the Theater for the New City. She holds a BA in English from Yale University and an MS in journalism from Columbia University.
