Dr. Robert Lloyd Doyle leverages over 25 years’ experience at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Specializing in the treatment of patients with autism, pervasive developmental disorders (PDD) and comorbid psychiatric illnesses affiliated with tuberous sclerosis, Dr. Doyle is recognized globally for his tenure as a child and adolescent psychiatrist. While at Massachusetts General Hospital, he excelled as the clinical director of PDD research in the pediatric psychopharmacology unit, having previously held faculty positions at Harvard University Health Services, where he worked in general dentistry. Dr. Doyle holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University. He later completed a residency in psychiatry, a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, and a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine. To supplement his career expertise, Dr. Doyle has authored several peer-reviewed articles, one of which detailed the effects of stress in Italian health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, which garnered him the Premio Italian Medicina Award.
