Saundra Paschal leverages over 40 years of professional experience as a distinguished educator. Since 1980, she has excelled as a mathematics teacher at Lake View High School, as part of the San Angelo Independent School District, where she teaches honors algebra II and precalculus. Alongside her primary role, she is the coach of the high school’s mathematics team and the coordinator of the high school’s University Interscholastic League. Drawing upon a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, with a minor in biology, from Angelo State University, Ms. Paschal has lent her expertise to the written word as a book advisor and reviewer. To commemorate her achievements, she was honored with the Top Global Hero Award in Education from the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) in 2023. Bestowed with a myriad of accolades from IAOTP in years past, she was previously named Top Inspirational Teacher of the Year in 2022, was inducted into the IAOTP Hall of Fame and was featured in IOATP’s Top 50 Fearless Leaders in 2019, among other acknowledgments. Ms. Paschal credits much of her success to her natural ability to teach and mentor students and the support she received from her own teachers in her formative years.
