Dr. Greyser is a business and marketing educator and emeritus Richard P. Chapman Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. Author of 17 books and monographs and contributor to more than 300 papers and articles, Dr. Greyser is regarded as an expert in corporate communications and brand management, sports business, and nonprofit management. An alum of Harvard University, he holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Business Administration, and served as a research assistant and assistant editor of the Harvard Business Review before joining the faculty in 1966 as an assistant professor. He rose to become a professor in 1972, and created two popular business elective courses, sports business and corporate communications, in addition to continued leadership roles for the Harvard Business Review. Dr. Greyser has been a visiting professor at institutions around the world, a longtime member of the board of the Advertising Research Foundation and a trustee of the Arts Administration Research Institute, among other distinctions. His pioneering work has been recognized with numerous accolades, and in 2022 he was elected to the Market Research Council Hall of Fame and presented with an honorary doctorate from Bradford University.
