Dr. Schwartz is a retired board-certified OB/GYN specialist who spent more than 30 years serving patients in the Milwaukee metro area. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1955 and was inspired to pursue his specialty by some of the obstetricians he worked with during his residencies. Over the course of his career, Dr. Schwartz attended more than 5,000 births at hospitals throughout Wisconsin, and he was a member of staff at Milwaukee County General and the Milwaukee Children’s Hospital from the 1960s until his retirement in 1994. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Schwartz was an assistant clinical professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin for more than 20 years and consulted for hospitals, insurance groups, and other third parties. He has contributed articles to medical journals and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Schwartz continues to stay abreast of developments in the field in his retirement and is proud to have had a personal impact on so many patients’ lives throughout his active career.
