Upon working on a biology degree in China, Xin Tian discovered China and the United States had very different philosophies relating to law. Intrigued by these differences, he decided to make it his career to combine biology and law as an interdisciplinary study, which landed him on patent law. In this respect, he earned a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology from China Pharmaceutical University in 2009, a Master of Science in biology from New York University in 2011, and a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, in 2016. Since 2018, Mr. Tian has utilized his expertise as the Research Director at Beijing Qiansong Tech Development Co. Ltd. He previously served as a legal intern at Thomson Reuters and as an electronic health record consultant with Technical Consulting & Research, Inc. Mr. Tian’s contributions to his field have resulted in several patents, such as for Data isolation sharing method and device based on blockchain, terminal, and System and Remote data sharing and protection method, server-side, user ride and System. In 2018, he received the Beijing Overseas Talents Center Award, and in 2014, received two Awards of Merit for his short film, “Lost in New York.”
Mr. Tian is recognized for excellence in patent law and scientific research.
Mr. Tian specializes in patent law with the Beijing Qiansong Tech Development Company.
Mr. Tian was admitted to practice to the New York bar in 2018, and in the years since has received numerous awards and accolades for his work.
